Shaw Pet and Equine Hospitals, in business since 1985. The practice including all three of our hospitals is still under the same ownership as it was at its inception.  We are  Greater Victoria’s locally owned alternative for full service and  Emergency animal medical service.  Our goal is to serve the health  care needs of our community’s pets and horses.

Gabby underwent thoracoscopic surgery for chylothorax at our Central Saanich Animal Hospital in 2006.  The surgery she had is called a subtotal pericardectomy and thoracic duct ligation. She was the first dog in the Province of BC to have this surgery performed through a keyhole incision using a laparoscope.
